5月22日星期一，波特兰警察局报告，一名青少年和他的祖母在Division 122街时遭遇一名成年陌生男子的恐吓和威胁袭击，成年陌生男子被青少年刺伤。
事件发生在上午10点45分。
报告说，当警察赶到现场时，青少年及其祖母已经离开，受伤的陌生男子接受了医疗救助。

警方说，青少年可能是为了自卫而刺伤了攻击者。
几乎同一时间，社交媒体有警报说，有人头部受伤并四处走动，他的头上插着刀。
居住在东南122大道的居民马上通知他们的孩子：“今天不出门”！
目前不清楚这是不是相关联的同一个事件。
