3月11日星期六，波特兰警察局至少出警两批追捕盗车贼，而盗车贼有白人也有黑人。
大约下午3点30分，一辆汽车在波特兰东南区122大道夹Ash街横冲直撞。
警方说，他们马上跟踪了这辆汽车，并确定是偷的。展开追捕。
盗车贼超速行驶，试图躲避追捕，在205号公路夹Sandy街险些撞上多辆汽车后自己翻车。车里的两名盗车贼受伤，可惜没有死，被送往医院。
警方对两个人指控多项罪名。翻车旁躺着一名盗车贼，手是白色的。
与此同时，波特兰警察在另一个地方追捕另一伙盗车贼（三个人）。
警方说，三个人试图徒步逃跑，但被逮捕。
警方在车上发现了一把枪，这把枪有一个加长弹匣。
被偷汽车的方向盘被严重破坏，盗车贼使用USB电源线启动汽车的。
从照片上看，此伙盗车贼是黑的。三人将被指控多项重罪。
A stolen vehicle eluded police today in East Precinct. He crashed after driving excessively fast and narrowly crashing into multiple cars. The driver and passenger were taken to the hospital. East Officers had another stolen car elude officers. The three occupants bailed on foot and once captured a gun was found nearby that they had tossed.
