两个星期前，9月5日，一名温哥华男子似乎在哥伦比亚河故意寻死，两次拒绝帮助。
华盛顿州温哥华警方报告，9月5日下午5点左右接到报警，一名男子在哥伦比亚河被一名驾驶水上摩托艇的路人救起，并被带回岸边。
当警察和消防队员赶到现场对该男子进行评估时，他开始走回水中，并游出了离岸数百码远的地方。
官员们使用消防船将男子救上岸后，当局称该男子拒绝帮助他上岸。但两名救援人员设法将男子安全地抬回船上。
当局称，他到达岸边时几乎处于体温过低状态，并被送往医院接受进一步检查。
目前尚未公布更多信息，包括该男子的当前状况。
